In brief

We process as little data as possible. This website sets no cookies that require consent, embeds no services from Google, Meta or other providers, and transfers no data to countries outside the EU. That is why you will not find a cookie banner here.

Visiting the website

When you open a page, your browser sends technical data to our server, which is stored in a log file: IP address, date and time, the address requested, the volume of data transferred, the status code, the referring page, and your browser and operating system identifiers.

We need this data to deliver the website, detect faults and fend off attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is secure and stable operation. Log files are deleted automatically after 190 days. They are not analysed for advertising purposes and not combined with other data.

The website is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, owner: René Münnich, Hauptstrasse 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany. The host processes this data on our behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. The servers are located in Germany.

Fonts

The fonts used are stored on our own server. Visiting this website establishes no connection to Google Fonts or any other external provider.

Languages

This website is available in several languages. The language follows solely from the address you open; no cookie is set for this and no language preference is stored.

Contact form

The form asks for your name, company, email address, telephone number and your message. Name, email address and message are required; the remaining fields are optional.

We use these details solely to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry concerns steps prior to entering into a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest being to respond to enquiries.

Your enquiry is not stored on the website but forwarded by email to our mailbox. It is sent via our host’s mail server. We delete enquiries once they are no longer needed; statutory retention periods for business correspondence remain unaffected.

We protect the form against automated advertising without a CAPTCHA: by means of a hidden field, a timing check and a limit of five enquiries per hour. For that limit we store a non-reversible hash of your IP address for one hour, not the address itself. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Contact by email or telephone

If you write to us or call us, we process your details in order to deal with your request. The legal basis and deletion correspond to the section on the contact form.

Audience measurement

We count page views using Koko Analytics, software that runs entirely on our own server. It records the page requested, the time and the domain of the referring page.

In our configuration, Koko Analytics sets no cookies, stores no IP addresses and builds no usage profiles. No connection to you as a person is therefore possible. Your browser’s “Do Not Track” setting is respected. Because nothing is stored on or read from your device, no consent under Section 25 TDDDG (the German implementation of the ePrivacy rules) is required. The legal basis for the analysis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is to see which content is read. Counts are deleted after twelve months. They are not passed on to third parties.

Cookies

We set no cookies for visitors. WordPress sets technically necessary session cookies only when signing in to the administration area.

Signing in to the administration area

Access is reserved for our staff. Failed sign-in attempts are logged with IP address and time in order to detect and block attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; entries are deleted after 30 days.

Recipients and third countries

Apart from our host, no one has access to the data described here. No data is transferred to countries outside the European Union.

Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20).

Where we process data on the basis of legitimate interests, you may object under Art. 21 GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation. An email to info@cvet.de is sufficient.

You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; ours is:
Der Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz Niedersachsen, Prinzenstrasse 5, 30159 Hannover, Germany, poststelle@lfd.niedersachsen.de

Data security

The website is delivered exclusively over encrypted HTTPS. Access to the administration area is additionally secured.
